Motorola, Samsung offer upbeat views on WiMAX

Motorola sees a bright future for WiMAX and LTE wireless technologies and will aggressively seek clients in both areas, said Bruce Brda, the company's newly named general manager of wireless networks. WiMAX also received a vote of confidence from a top Samsung executive, who said the technology could replicate the role with 4G-enabled networks that CDMA performed in the 2G and 3G arenas.
