American Airlines, pilots reach tentative labor agreement

American Airlines and leaders of the Allied Pilots Association have reached a tentative agreement for a new labor contract between the airline and its pilots. A final contract will be presented to union leaders, and if they accept it, American's full pilot force will vote whether to ratify the new contract. The new agreement "should make the corporation a healthy and successful organization," said Keith Wilson, union president.
