Epsilon buys Hyper Marketing for omni-marketing solution

Alliance Data Systems' consumer-data company Epsilon has acquired digital marketing agency Hyper Marketing for $460 million. Hyper Marketing includes agencies Ryan Partnership, SolutionSet and Catapult. The two companies already share clients, and the acquisition is seen as a way for Epsilon to marry Big Data to the creative, social media and retail oriented agencies for everything "from data management to loyalty programs to branding campaigns," writes Kate Kaye.
