Greek Parliament adopts austerity budget

Greek lawmakers approved a 2013 budget that includes spending cuts and reforms demanded by creditors, after two days of debate. The budget aims to generate a primary surplus of 0.4% of gross domestic product. Prime Minister Antonis Samaras said the government is taking necessary actions to keep Greece in the euro zone.
