According to Gary Waters, a professor teaching introductory classes at the lab, a college degree is increasingly considered a requirement for casino workers aiming for upper management as the gaming industry grows. "The landscape has changed in the last few years. There are more college-educated executives leading these casinos. Education is more highly recognized in gaming now," Waters said.
