U.K. shoppers expected to look to mobile for holiday needs

U.K. shoppers are likely to spend £920 million via their mobile devices this holiday season, an increase of 15% from the previous year's figures, according to the IMRG Capgemini eRetail Sales Index. "Technology, and particularly mobile, have become catalysts for growth and have changed the way that we shop for good. The high street as we knew it, where the 'showroom' inside the four walls of the store was the centre of our shopping experience, has transformed forever," commented Olivier Ropars, mobile senior director at eBay.
