$13M flood-barrier project is planned for section of Long Island

New York intends to build flood barriers on Long Island, which was heavily affected by Hurricane Sandy. The $13 million project is designed to protect Long Beach's industrial district from catastrophic storms in the future, Gov. Andrew Cuomo says.
