Affluent U.S. shoppers are digital bargain hunters, study shows

Americans with an annual household income of more than $100,000 are just as interested in shopping deals as those making half that, per eMarketer. Because they tend to live in expensive metro areas, they are looking for bargains through their digital devices, which they use to "research and compare prices to ensure they get the most for their money." In fact, the affluent shopper is the most likely among those surveyed to shop where retailers offer rewards and loyalty points, according to a separate study by Parago.
