Analysis: Yellen will need to unify Fed's voice

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke's policy of allowing differing opinions to be aired publicly has opened up the institution's discussions to the public, but also caused some confusion about where the agency stands on economic issues, Victoria McGrane and Jon Hilsenrath write. If confirmed, one of Janet Yellen's main challenges will be to unify the message coming from the central bank, perhaps by negotiating consensus among its members.
