Bank IPOs in Hong Kong to reveal market's take on bad debts

Two upcoming Hong Kong initial public offerings by China Everbright Bank and China Cinda Asset Management are expected to reveal what investors think about the nature and extent of bad debt in China's banking system. Cinda in particular has been active in China's distressed-assets market, focusing on nonperforming loans at commercial banks and at nonfinancial companies.
