FAA rule brings pilot training back to basics

Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx said that the new rule recently issued by the Federal Aviation Administration is a "significant advancement for aviation safety and U.S. pilot training." Blogger Scott Spangler says the new rule would better be called a correction, rather than an advancement. The new rule stresses basic stick and rudder skills for preventing aircraft stalls and expanded crosswind training.
