France begins new online ADR reporting system

ANSM, the French medical regulatory agency, has created an online system that makes it easier and faster for companies, patients and health professionals to report instances of adverse drug reactions to health authorities. The system currently covers only medicine and drugs, but will add medical devices shortly. The forms for drug incidents are sent by e-mail to regional pharmacovigilance centers.
