Ill. governor set to sign marriage bill this month

Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn announced last week that he will sign marriage-equality legislation into law in a ceremony at the University of Illinois at Chicago Forum on Nov. 20. The signing ceremony will be open to the public. "I look forward to signing this landmark legislation on Nov. 20 and celebrating a big step forward with the people of Illinois," Quinn said in a statement.
