Joss Whedon expounds on the language of equality

Filmmaker Joss Whedon is arguing the word "genderist" should become the new term for people who do not believe in equality between the sexes, replacing the term "feminist". Speaking at Equality Now's Make Equality Reality benefit dinner, Whedon said it's time for a change in terms because "there was a shameful past before we realized that all people were created equal. And we are past that."
