Education activist Malala Yousafzai took center stage at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, where she was honored Monday night alongside Lady Gaga, Barbra Streisand and former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. Many of the honorees referred to Yousafzai in their speeches, and Lady Gaga said she wished she could have dedicated her Glamour cover to the teenage activist. “She is a game-changer for girls. I wish young girls here knew more about Malala, and less about the Kardashians," said supermodel Iman, who was in the audience.
