Study: Big savings for Americans who buy drugs internationally

Americans who buy domestically produced brand-name medications from reputable international online pharmacies can save an average of 76% over the U.S. price of such drugs, according to a review of 15 well-known medicines, such as Eli Lilly & Co.'s antidepressant Cymbalta and Merck's asthma treatment Singulair. In some cases, the overseas brand-name price was lower even than the U.S. generic equivalent. The study was conducted by PharmacyChecker.com.
