Patients who had deep-plane cervicofacial elevation flap reconstruction after Mohs ablative surgery had lower rates of distal edge necrosis than those who had subcutaneous cervicofacial elevation, according to a study involving a single surgeon and published in JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery.
