USGA shares strategies to speed up pace of play

Golf industry leaders gathered at the U.S. Golf Association's "While We're Young: Golf's Pursuit of a New Paradigm for Pace of Play" symposium to determine what golfers, superintendents, head pros and the USGA can do to speed up pace of play and create a more enjoyable environment for players. Years of data as well as comments from referees were presented to tackle the issue, from changing the amount of time a player can look for a lost ball to cutting down the time professional golfers play in tournaments.
