Ducasse, Blumenthal talk Michelin stars, restaurants, competition

Alain Ducasse is the world's most Michelin-starred chef, with his restaurants the Plaza Athenee in Paris and Le Louis XV in Monaco both having been rated with three Michelin stars. Heston Blumenthal is known as a molecular gastronomist, and his Fat Duck eatery in England is one of only three U.K. restaurants to hold three Michelin stars. The two masters met for this conversation with The Independent.
