McDonald's to expand coffee business

McDonald's announced plans to introduce less expensive specialty coffee drinks and beverages in a bid to tap a larger share of the U.S. coffee market, currently dominated by Starbucks. "We don't want to be a quick-service restaurant alone. We want to be a restaurant that benefits from quick service and the informal eating-out category," McDonald's President Don Thompson said.
