Supermarkets use biometric systems to secure, speed up transactions

Supermarket chains such as Jewel-Osco and Albertsons are using biometric authentication systems to protect their stores and customers from credit-card fraud and identity theft and speed up transaction payments. The systems use scanned fingerprints to determine the specific financial account the purchase price will be deducted from.
