HIV charity weighs in on MSM blood-donor ban

The National AIDS Trust is urging the British National Blood Service to take a proactive stance in reviewing and finding alternatives to its lifetime ban on donations from men who have had sex with men. The NBS, however, said it would only revise the policy "on the basis of clear evidence that patients would not be put at jeopardy."
