Vote on Kallispell City Airport expansion pushed back

Board members pushed back a vote on expanding the Kalispell City Airport in Kalispell, Mont., until after a town hall meeting. The town hall meeting on Nov. 30 will take public comments and provide details on the proposed expansion of the general aviation airport. The proposal would lengthen the airstrip to 4,700 feet with funding from the Federal Aviation Administration, but some city residents object to the possibility of increased noise from the airport.
