Vaccine shows hope for treating acne

Researchers at the University of California, San Diego, found a vaccine was effective in inhibiting the inflammatory process associated with acne in mice. The vaccine targets a protein produced by acne-causing bacteria, and researchers think a treatment for people could be available within five years.
