Advocates seek penalty-free savings for individuals with disabilities

Advocates for individuals with disabilities are lobbying Congress to pass a bill that would create a special savings account and allow those with disabilities to save up to $100,000 without losing government benefits. Known as the Achieving Better Life Experience Act, the bill has bipartisan support in both the House and the Senate, and supporters hope it will be voted on by the end of the year.
