Confectionery Foundation establishes relief fund

Last week NCA, through The Confectionery Foundation, created the Rockaway Disaster Relief Fund to help the New York community recover from the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy. Jorge Farber, president and CEO of Madelaine Chocolate, an NCA member-company located on Rockaway Beach, will serve as the executor of the fund. The donation drive is a special project of The Confectionery Foundation and falls under one of its three core missions: philanthropy, education and research. This campaign is a meaningful way to help a community with a special connection to the candy industry recover from a natural disaster. Contact Susan Whiteside.
