IEA: U.S. will be world's top oil producer by 2020

A shale oil boom will put the United States in the top spot over Saudi Arabia as the world's largest oil producer by 2020, according to the International Energy Agency's World Energy Outlook. OPEC recently projected that the U.S. will import less than 2 million barrels of oil daily in 2035, a decline of almost 75%.
