Papa John's fights class-action spam lawsuit

Pizza chain Papa John's has been hit with a $250 million class-action lawsuit by customers who allege that they were bombarded with unwanted text-message ads after ordering food from franchise units in 2010. The company says it's fighting both the lawsuit and its class-action status, saying Papa John's isn't liable because the text messages were sent by a third-party vendor.
