Private Seattle club remodels to capture younger members

The interior of Seattle's exclusive Columbia Club has remained practically unchanged during its 27 years -- until now. The club recently unveiled a 5-month, $3.5 million remodeling project designed to lure younger members through its doors. The old version of the club "was like driving a Model T on the autobahn," says General Manager Tommy Trause. “Now we’ve got a Ferrari.”
