Sign the "Wait for Labor to Start on Its Own" Pledge

During World Prematurity Awareness month, AWHONN is encouraging members, healthcare providers, pregnant women and their friends and families to learn the importance of spontaneous labor. Through the "Wait for Labor to Start on Its Own" pledge on AWHONN's Facebook page, we're building a community of support around women whose pregnancies are healthy and well to wait for spontaneous labor. The pledge is part of AWHONN's "Don't Rush Me ... Go the Full 40" weeks of pregnancy campaign that gives the reasons and benefits why it's best for moms and babies to have a term pregnancy. We're asking everyone -- including grandparents, aunts and uncles -- to sign in through their Facebook account, sign the pledge and share it widely.
