Agency to issue version 31 ICD-10 software

The CMS has issued its version 31 ICD-10 definitions manual and code editor for fiscal year 2014 to help health providers assess how ICD-10 will affect Medicare's severity-diagnosis-related groups. The version 31 software is available this month, and the final version 32 is set to take effect Oct. 1, 2014.
