Analyst: Pay-TV operators have "worst 12-month stretch ever"

Pay-TV providers have suffered their "worst 12-month stretch ever," shedding more customers in the previous four quarters than in any other one-year period, according to analyst Craig Moffett. Most of the losses are concentrated among cable operators, who continue to lose subscribers to satcasters as well as telecoms Verizon and AT&T, according to Moffett's MoffettNathanson firm.
