B&W plans to sell stake in mPower joint venture in 2014

Up to 70% of its stake in the Generation mPower small modular reactor project will be sold by Babcock & Wilcox by mid-2014. The company invested almost $360 million in its joint venture with Bechtel, said B&W CEO Jim Ferland. "That could be a reasonable starting point for negotiations. But we are going to have to see what the market thinks this is worth," he said.
