Conspiracy theorists are getting stronger, researchers say

The rise of the Web is leading to a proliferation of conspiracy theories, and allowing the paranoid and delusional to come up with and share crazy new theories in real time, researchers say. Before the Internet, "the people who were talking about these theories in public got laughed out," says political scientist Dan Cassino. "Now you have safe places to talk about this," he adds.
