Experts create platform for developing heart valve tissue

Researchers at the University of California at Davis have developed tissue derived from animals that they say could minimize rejection risk for patients receiving heart valve replacements. Researchers said the technology has been tested in small animals and could pave the way for developing bone cartilage, skin patches and other tissues.
