Online services fuel a shift in takeout ordering

Online ordering and delivery services including Eat24, GrubHub, Seamless and Delivery.com, offer restaurants a way to reach more customers but they also come with a cost -- services take up to 20% on each order, and most pay eateries their share monthly. Still, restaurants say they're joining up in part to hold onto regular customers who have switched to online services. "If you want to do business with certain companies you need Seamless," said Cinema Brasserie owner Steve Galanis, who joined the service after regular customers from a nearby company started using it.
