SimCity seeks to take up residence in middle schools

SimCityEDU, which launched Nov. 7, will be debuting a video game Thursday intended to work as an interactive science lesson and formative assessment for middle-school students. The game, which is popular in the consumer marketplace, has been altered with students in mind -- offering timed exercises and aligning with the Common Core State Standards.
