Technology in bedrooms tied to sleep problems in children

Placing TV sets, smartphones and game consoles in bedrooms can make children anxious as well as sleep deprived, a Canadian study in the Journal of Pediatric Psychology showed. Technology in children's bedrooms "sets up the brain to see the room as an entertainment zone rather than a quiet, sleepy environment," lead author Jennifer Vriend said.
