Yoplait could become General Mills' biggest brand

General Mills, which owns the licensing rights to the French Yoplait brand, holds 37% of the U.S. yogurt market and continues to grab marketshare. Dannon follows at 24%. If sales continue to climb, yogurt, which accounts for roughly $1.1 billion in sales each year, could surpass cereal as General Mills' top sales item within seven years.
