Initiative works to get heart attack ER patients faster care

Hospitals around the country are involved in an aggressive effort to get help to emergency room heart attack patients much faster. The effort is being called the biggest health care initiative since paramedics were trained in CPR, and it focuses on heart attacks caused by a total or near-total blockage of a major artery that prevents enough oxygen from reaching the heart tissue.
