Tyson sees animal fat as material for alternative fuels

Tyson Foods, in addition to being the nation's largest meat processor, is a major producer of a principal byproduct: animal fat. And that vat of fat, the company says, could become an excellent raw material for biodiesel fuels. "We believe it's a win for our energy independence, it's a win for our environment, and we believe it will be a big win for our shareholders," Tyson executive Jeff Webster said.
