Defense appropriations bill allocates $15B to Fort Worth firms

Defense contractors in the Fort Worth, Texas, area will receive nearly $15 billion in funding for key weapons programs as part of an appropriations bill passed by Congress last week. Funding includes work on the V-22 Osprey, F-35 and F-22 fighters and Army and Marine helicopters being done in the Fort Worth area.
