Senator agrees global warming legislation needs more time

Concerns about the impact to the economy have prompted Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., to agree to take more time with legislation concerning the complex issue of global warming. At a recent Environment Committee hearing, Boxer reversed course and said she will not push a vote on the bill before the Dec. 3 United Nations climate change conference.
