Amazon will hire more than 15,500 to help with holiday orders

Amazon plans to hire more than 15,500 temporary workers to fulfill orders this holiday season, the company said Friday. New hires will staff fulfillment centers across the country. Centers in Arizona and Pennsylvania will have the largest numbers of seasonal staff. U.S. retailers are expected to add as many as 650,000 workers for the holiday season, according to a national outsourcing firm.
