American chooses humor to promote revamped AAdvantage program

American Airlines has rolled out so many frequent-flier perks lately that it decided a fun approach was needed to get out the word about the improvements to its AAdvantage program. "We really wanted to do something to cut through the clutter and [let passengers] hear about all the hard work we've done," said Maya Leibman, president of American's AAdvantage loyalty program.
