Colo. schools buy local for fresh, safe foods

LiveWell Fort Collins and the Poudre School District in Colorado have developed a farm-to-school program that partners with farms to provide fresh produce for student meals. "It's good for kids. They get healthy, fresh produce and an opportunity to learn where their food comes from," said Virginia Clark, the coordinator for LiveWell Fort Collins.
