House to consider funding bill for the FDA and other agencies

Funding for the FDA and other science agencies could move through Congress via a $128 billion "minibus" bill the Senate already has passed and the House is set to consider. The bill, HR 2112, covers the FDA, NSF, the Office of Science and Technology Policy and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Funding for NIH, which is not part of HR 2112, is expected to be included in another "minibus" bill covering Labor, Education and Health and Human Services funding.
