India's biggest airlines are looking to reorganize $13B of debt

India's larger airlines -- Air India, Kingfisher Airlines and Jet Airways -- are seeking government and private help with the refinancing of their debt, this feature notes. "The time has come for Indian carriers, both private and public, to place an equal emphasis on easing debt burdens and driving operating efficiencies," said cost-cutting adviser Srisu Subrahmanyam.
