Oman Air will modernize its fleet with 6 Dreamliners

Oman Air said Monday that it would modernize its fleet with six Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The airline jumped in when a leasing company canceled its order for the fuel-efficient next-generation aircraft. "Our decision to order the 787-8 is part of Oman Air's long-term growth strategy to expand and modernize our fleet with newer, more fuel-efficient airplanes," said CEO Peter Hill.
