TransCanada, Nebraska agree to study new route for Keystone XL

TransCanada and Nebraska have reached a deal to study a new route for the Keystone XL pipeline that would avoid the state's Ogallala aquifer and Sandhills region. Under the terms, Nebraska would fund studies for rerouting the pipeline. "I believe we will put the routing issue completely behind us," said Alex Pourbaix, president of energy and oil pipelines for TransCanada.
